Steps of a simple Direct Cremation
1: Arrangement
We can be contacted 24/7 and aim to bring your loved one into our care with one hour of being contacted.
Arrangements are made in person at a time and place you're comfortable with.
We will inform you of the time and date of the cremation.
2: The Cremation
Our price includes an eco-friendly coffin and transportation to Maple Park Crematorium, or any crematorium of your choice.
The coffin is placed in the service chapel. there are no mourners present.
3: Completion
After the cremation has taken place, we collect the ashes from the crematorium on your behalf. They are then delivered to you along with the Certificate of Cremation, or if you prefer, we can scatter them for you in the garden of remembrance.

We aim to collect the person who has died within one hour of being contacted, subject to the necessary medical and legal procedures being completed.

If your loved one has died in hospital, we will liaise with the hospital directly and arrange to bring your loved one into our care as soon as possible.
Can personal items be placed in the coffin?
Yes, we can place personal items in the coffin for you. Families often like to include photographs, letters, or keepsake items in the coffin.
There are however some restrictions on what can be placed in the coffin such as items with batteries or glass. We can advise what is safe to be included if you are unsure.
When will I receive the ashes back?
We are generally able to collect the cremated remains from the crematorium within two working days of the cremation taking place.
We aim to deliver the ashes back to you as soon as possible after the cremation, and we'll give you an expected timescale when making the arrangements
